Landscape Lighting Concept Design
Project Overview
The landscape lighting design for Swissôtel The Bosphorus was developed to enhance the natural greenery while maintaining a respectful dialogue with the Bosphorus skyline. Rather than overpowering the environment, the lighting strategy subtly defines pathways, highlights key trees and architectural elements, and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests.
A layered approach — combining guidance, accent, and ambient lighting — ensures visual comfort, low glare, and controlled light levels. Special attention was given to minimizing light spill and preserving the night character of the surroundings, resulting in a refined and sustainable outdoor lighting experience.
